I just bought a cyclocross bike to commute to work on in the city. I will also be riding it at night pretty much every night to my girlfriends house. I’m a lifeguard and I have two options for this summer.
The first is to take the job I had last summer, which I loved. I worked at a pool in an apartment complex, my boss was a gym teacher and club adviser that I knew well, I could take insanely long paid breaks when there were no patrons, and it was fun becasue I really liked the people in the apartment complex.The problem is that it only pays $8.50 an hour.

2010 MTB Ultra-Endurance Calendar opens with 12-Hours of Santos

The 2010 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Ultra-Endurance Calendar kicks off this Saturday, February 20, in Ocala, Fla. with the 12-Hours of Santos. The first of five rounds in the nation’s premier ultra-endurance series, the 12-Hours of Santos will attract top-level endurance off-roaders from around the world, and will feature a $2,000 pro purse and over $5,000 worth of prizes.

2003 model, bought in May 2004 Have original receipts.
21 speed front-suspension mountain bike – has been around, but still goes good.
Currently used to cycle to work daily. Been used on-and-off over last 5 years. Sometimes used daily for work commute, sometimes not touched for months.
Bike has always been kept indoors.
Has scratches as would be expected. Has surface rust, including on disc brakes (away from pads) – brakes still work fine.
