How Do You Site Information From The Internet Into Your Essay?

I’m writing a college paper/essay on Bicycles and I need to to cite internet websites and all this stuff but I have no idea how they go/ My dumb teacher didn’t give us any examples. Can someone please show me how you would cite stuff into your essay.
for example….
Bicycles are helpful to our bodies in [...]

Put the website next to it like this.

You could do a simple “as stated on ____” kinda thing. Or you could say, “according to.” That’s generally what I do when I cite an internet source that doesn’t have an author.
Now if the author is listed on the webpage/article, then you would cite it within the essay just as you would a book.
