Help Me Pick Out A Bicycle, Please!?
A Reader Asks…
I haven’t owned a bicycle since high school, so I have no idea what’s going on. I’m 30, 6′, over 200 lbs. Want something primarily for road use, but would prefer the option of going on trails. Probably won’t use it more than a few hours a week, but may try commuting with it when weather is nice. Would like to spend less than $500. What would you recommend?
Please include make, model, and size. Thanks!

I have a suggestion you might find helpful
why not go to a cycle shop, where the people who work there are very knowledgeable about bikes..they can fit you…..and can recommend some bikes (styles..wheels..seat..amnd even type of handlebars suitable for you)suitable for you needs. You have a fairly high price range you are willing to spend on a bike..I bet you can find something in the shop..or, you can take the advice they give you and go to other places to compare prices..and similar bikes suggested for you…lots of places are having sales on now.
